My number one goal is to get your blood sugars in range so that you can avoid serious complications of diabetes like loss of vision and loss of kidney function. You might lose weight as a result of the changes you make to get better blood sugars, and if weight loss is one of your goals, I will help you choose an eating plan that will support it. But, weight loss is not the main goal of the program — better blood sugars is the main goal.
